Katie is the Strategic Assistant at Schwartz Planning Group, where she supports the firm’s strategic initiatives through clear client communication, a seamless onboarding experience, compliance support, complex scheduling, technology implementation, and community engagement.
Before joining Schwartz Planning Group, Katie served as a Project Director in the criminal justice field. There, she gained firsthand experience navigating complex systems and learned the importance of meeting people where they are. Throughout her career, she has developed specialized training programs and supported organizations through strategic planning, program evaluation, leadership development, and operational management. She is passionate about helping individuals and teams recognize their strengths while building meaningful partnerships with colleagues, clients, and the community. These experiences allow her to streamline internal processes, strengthen client relationships, and support the firm's long-term growth.
Outside the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Atlanta Dream, volunteering for causes she cares about, very slowly improving her golf game, and creating pottery. She is also raising a future service dog through Canine Companions. If you ask her about any of these topics, it makes her day.
Katie holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Denver, along with several professional certifications.
